Set in a £250 million 110,000m regeneration programme that will breath
new life into Leeds city centre sits a new 3000m Armouries Square in the
front of the Royal Armouries Museum. The art work was produced in
collaboration between The Clarence Dock Company, The Royal Armouries
Museum, Arts and Business, International Arts Consultants, Artist Lesley
Fallais and Marshalls.
Using comments made by war veterans from The Royal British Legion,
The Association of Wrens, Refugees, Leeds Peace Network and local
children, words and images were sandblasted into granite benches and
paving to create educational trail.
